Waste Ink Counter Reset procedure in remote On-Line mode. Manual.

Occasionally, some users will experience the error on their printer where it stops printing and the lights start flashing. This error is most often experienced when the printer has reached a condition where it thinks the ink waste pads inside the printer are full. That’s right - all that ink you lose in cleaning cycles and priming new cartridges has to go somewhere, and your Epson printer keeps track of roughly how much ink it has dumped into some large absorbent pads in the base of the printer!

Technically, this condition requires an Epson service engineer to resolve it by adjustment program and changing ink pads to new one.. It is however, possible that you could fix it yourself by resetting the printer and clearing the counter of how much ink has gone to those pads. You can reset waste ink pad counter by Epson Adjustment programs if you have them.
A lot of models you can also reset by SSCLG reset utility, but not NEW MODELS 2009 year. I mean such as T50, T59, T60, T69, T24, T27, P50, Artisan 50, Artisan 710, Artisan 810, TX710, TX810, TX650, TX210, TX110, TX410 and others..
There is NO way to reset this models by yourself by downloading service utility. There is no such utility.
One have to go to Epson customer care and they will reset the waste ink counter in on-line mode. They have access to Epson server and can reset all models. Basic price is $30 for this procedure.

How it works: you have to download usb utility and share one usb port with your printer connected, as we have access to your usb-port - we have access to your usb printer!
That is it! We run the program on our side and reset your waste ink counter!

Please read carefuly this step-by-step on-line reset manual

1. Install the USB Redirector utility on your PC
   You can download "USB Redirector 4.6" here: for Windows or for Linux
   (When installing check your system - 32 bit or 64 bit and choose you need)
   
   
2. Run the program "USB Redirector" - choose Continue Evaulation mode



3. Share the USB port with printer connected
   (It may happen that some antivirus program and firewalls may block the USB-redirector traffic - so please disable them in this case.)
   In the "USB redirector" window please choose the printer you need to reset from the printer connected list (USB-printer support).
   Attention: after you share USB printer it is disabled in LOCAL mode!


- Dont share othe USB devices such as keyboard, mouse etc. Only USB printer you need to reset!
- To find the printer you need - you can unplug and then plug again the printer you need and you'll see it in the list. You can also unplug all usb devices and then plug only the printer you need.
- If you cant find your printer - power OFF the printer and then power ON, Close the USB-Redirector and Run again.

Click "ShareUsbDevice" after you choose the printer you need to reset.
You can see the "hand" image under the port - it means this port can be shared.



4. Internet connection The best connection you have - the best result you get!
   Check your IP address (here - who.is) and remember it.

6. Connect your computer to our.
   While you are in contact with Sergey connect your computer to our by USB-Redirector.
   
   Open the USB-Redirector window.
   Choose "Remote Control" -> "Create CallBack Connection to Usb client".
   
   
   Switch OFF the "Auto-connect all usb devices" option and enter our IP-address.
   Our IP address is 91.193.204.162. Check the port - 32032 (or other).
   All settings must be as on the picture. Please check it and press ENTER!

8. Attention! After finishing resetting procedure CANCEL the USB Sharing - Choose printer por and press "Stop Sharing Usb Device"
   
   Choose our server connection at the bottom of the USB-Redirector window and press "Remote Control" -> "Close CallBack Connection to Usb client"
   
   
9. Switch ON the Antivirus program.
